2. Respect for Third-Party Rights
Taya Recipes does not intentionally publish material that infringes another person’s copyright.
Some pages may contain:
- Properly licensed media;
- Material used with permission;
- Public-domain material;
- Embedded third-party content;
- User-submitted comments;
- Links to third-party websites; or
- Material used where permitted by applicable law.
The appearance of third-party material does not mean that Taya Recipes claims ownership of it.
If you believe content available on Taya Recipes infringes your copyright, submit a complete notice using the procedure below.

7. Incomplete Notices
A notice that does not contain enough information may delay our review.
When a notice identifies the copyrighted work, disputed material, and complainant’s contact information but is otherwise incomplete, we may attempt to contact the sender for the missing information.
Taya Recipes is not required to act on vague requests that do not identify the relevant material or provide enough information to evaluate the complaint.
8. How We May Respond
After receiving a complete, good-faith notice, Taya Recipes may:
- Confirm receipt;
- Review the identified material;
- Request additional information;
- Temporarily restrict access while reviewing the matter;
- Remove or disable access to the material;
- Correct attribution;
- Contact the person who supplied the material;
- Reject a notice that lacks a reasonable basis;
- Preserve relevant records;
- Forward the notice to affected parties or service providers; or
- Take another action reasonably appropriate to the circumstances.
Submitting a notice does not guarantee automatic removal.
We may consider ownership evidence, licences, permissions, public-domain status, exceptions and limitations, fair use, misidentification, and other relevant circumstances.
9. Notification to the Content Provider
Where disputed material was submitted or supplied by a third party, we may provide that party with:
- A copy of the complaint;
- The complainant’s contact information;
- Identification of the removed material; and
- Instructions for submitting a counter-notification.
By submitting a copyright notice, you acknowledge that information in the notice may be shared as reasonably necessary to process the complaint or comply with law.
10. Counter-Notification
A person who believes material was removed or disabled because of a mistake or misidentification may submit a written counter-notification.
The counter-notification must contain:
- A physical or electronic signature;
- Identification of the removed or disabled material;
- The location where the material appeared before removal;
- A statement under penalty of perjury that the sender has a good-faith belief that the material was removed or disabled because of mistake or misidentification;
- The sender’s full name, address, and telephone number;
- The legally required consent to the jurisdiction of the appropriate United States Federal District Court; and
- A statement that the sender will accept service of process from the original complainant or the complainant’s agent.
These are statutory counter-notification requirements, including special jurisdiction wording when the sender is located outside the United States.

12. Handling a Counter-Notification
When applicable, Taya Recipes may provide the counter-notification to the original complainant.
Under the statutory DMCA process for qualifying user-provided material, replacement may occur no sooner than 10 and no later than 14 business days after receipt of a valid counter-notification, unless the original complainant notifies the service provider that a court action has been filed seeking to restrain the allegedly infringing activity.
Taya Recipes may decline to restore material when:
- The counter-notification is incomplete;
- Restoration would violate another law or right;
- The material violates our Terms of Use;
- A court order applies;
- The material creates a security risk; or
- Another independent basis supports its removal.
13. Repeat Infringers
Taya Recipes may restrict or terminate access for users or contributors who repeatedly infringe copyright where appropriate.
We may also remove user-submitted material, disable comments, block submissions, or take other reasonable measures.
A reasonably implemented repeat-infringer policy is one of the statutory conditions associated with eligibility for DMCA safe-harbor protection.
14. False or Misleading Notices
Do not knowingly submit a false copyright notice or counter-notification.
A person who knowingly materially misrepresents that material is infringing, or that removal occurred through mistake or misidentification, may be liable for resulting damages, costs, and attorneys’ fees under applicable U.S. law.
15. Fair Use and Legally Permitted Uses
Copyright ownership does not automatically prohibit every use of protected material.
Depending on the circumstances, a use may be permitted under:
- Fair use;
- Quotation or criticism exceptions;
- News reporting;
- Education or research exceptions;
- Public-domain status;
- An applicable licence;
- Express authorization; or
- Other legal limitations on copyright.
Taya Recipes may consider these issues when reviewing a complaint, but we do not decide disputes with the authority of a court.
16. Recipe-Related Copyright Complaints
Recipe disputes can involve different kinds of material.
A complaint should clearly identify what is allegedly protected, such as:
- Original written introductions;
- Original expressive instructions;
- Photographs;
- Videos;
- Illustrations;
- Graphics;
- Downloadable files; or
- A substantial original compilation.
A complaint should not merely state that two pages describe the same dish or use similar common ingredients.
Provide side-by-side links and clearly explain which original creative material was allegedly copied.
17. Complaints About Taya Recipes Content on Other Websites
This page primarily explains how to report content appearing on tayarecipes.com.
When another website copies Taya Recipes content, the complaint normally needs to be submitted to:
- The operator of the other website;
- That website’s hosting provider;
- The relevant social-media platform;
- The applicable search engine; or
- Another service hosting or displaying the copied material.
Taya Recipes may enforce its rights directly and may submit takedown requests concerning unauthorized copies of its content.
18. Pinterest Copyright Issues
Taya Recipes may publish links and images relating to its recipes on Pinterest through an authorized publishing workflow.
A complaint about material hosted directly on tayarecipes.com should be submitted to Taya Recipes.
A complaint about a Pin or other material hosted on Pinterest may also need to be submitted through Pinterest’s copyright-reporting process.
Submitting a complaint to Taya Recipes does not guarantee removal of content controlled entirely by Pinterest or another third-party platform.
19. Google and Search Results
Removing material from Taya Recipes does not automatically remove:
- Cached copies;
- Search snippets;
- Search-engine records;
- Copies hosted by other websites; or
- Third-party social-media posts.
Search engines and third-party platforms control their own removal and updating procedures.
20. Preservation of Evidence
Taya Recipes may preserve copies of notices, counter-notifications, affected content, access logs, communications, and related records when reasonably necessary to:
- Investigate a complaint;
- Prevent abuse;
- Establish what material was available;
- Resolve a dispute;
- Enforce our Terms;
- Respond to legal requests; or
- Comply with applicable law.
Such records will be handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
21. Privacy
Copyright notices and counter-notifications may contain personal information.
We may process and disclose this information as necessary to:
- Review the claim;
- Contact the parties;
- Forward legally required notices;
- Communicate with hosting or platform providers;
- Obtain professional advice;
- Comply with legal obligations; or
- Defend legal rights.
For more information, read our Privacy Policy.
22. No Legal Advice
This page describes Taya Recipes’ copyright complaint procedure.
It does not provide legal advice and does not determine whether a particular use is lawful. Parties who are uncertain about their rights should consult a qualified copyright professional before submitting a legal notice.
23. Policy Changes
Taya Recipes may update this policy when:
- Legal requirements change;
- Our contact information changes;
- Website features change;
- User-submission features change; or
- Clarifications are required.
The updated policy will appear on this page with a revised “Last Updated” date.
